Senzorii de proximitate IMO consta in trei tipuri diferiti: Inductivi care detecteaza numai metale; Capacitivi care poate detecta aproape orice obiect; si cu Ultrasunete.

Gama IMO a senzorilor inductivi vine in mai multe forme si dimensiuni, cele comune fiind cilindrice, variind de la 3mm in diametru pana la stiluri de caroserie M30, cu tipuri de montare de asemenea disponibile.

Toate optiunile sunt disponibile in DC, iar M12, M18 si M30 sunt disponibile si in AC.

Senzorii capacitivi sunt disponibili in stilurile de caroserie M18 si M30, M18 fiind disponibil numai in DC si M30 atat in DC cat si in AC.

Senzorii ultrasonici sunt disponibili in caroserie M18.
